Curated by Hong Kong renowned composer Ng Cheuk-yin, virtual music group "Twinkle" formed by Aria the vocalist, Xana the violinist, and Saggi the guitarist, made their debut in the Hong Kong pop music scene with their first single in September 2023. A year later, these three virtual artists are ready to embark on a new chapter, performing alongside jazz pianist Joyce Cheung and her band, bridging the boundaries between virtual and reality.
Ng Cheuk-yin composes music of different genres ranging from Chinese and Western orchestral music, a cappella theatre, Cantopop to crossover music. He has served as composer or music director for various artists' albums and concerts, including Hins Cheung and Eason Chan. His rich and diversified portfolio of compositions has been recognised with numerous awards, including the Hong Kong Arts Development Award 2011 - Award for Best Artist (Music) by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, the Best Serious Composition (three times) at the CASH Golden Sail Music Awards, as well as the "Favourite Song" award at the Ultimate Song Chart Awards of the Commercial Radio Hong Kong.
Joyce Cheung is a rising star in Hong Kong's music scene as a jazz pianist. She has served as pianist, arranger, and composer for numerous artists' albums and performances, including Terence Lam, Joey Yung, Chan Fai-young, Janice Vidal, and Yoyo Sham. She has performed alongside British Soul Jazz vocalist Poppy Ajudha at Tokyo Blue Note. Her curated concert "Once in a Blue Moon" featured various singers performing classic pop songs with her new arrangements, receiving widespread acclaim.
