As an incubator for the development of arts and technology (Arts Tech), the East Kowloon Cultural Centre (EKCC) is committed to promote Arts Tech. We will support artistic creation by arts practitioners and technology professionals so as to identify new emerging trends in the arts, and seize the opportunities that come with innovation and technology. To achieve this, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department has launched a two-year Artist-in-Residence Pilot Scheme at the EKCC, running from April 2024 to March 2026. This initiative aims to foster meaningful partnerships between the EKCC and individual artists. 

The EKCC provides state-of-the-art facilities that encourage artists to research, curate, and develop their programme which integrate Arts Tech with stage performance and audience engagement, ultimately cultivating the growth and development of Arts Tech.

Ivanhoe Lam is our residency artist at the EKCC from April 2024 to March 2026.
